Every year Thrasher Magazine sends the previous SOTY winner and a select crew out on a celebratory vacation/filming mission and Anthony Van Engelen’s tenure sees no change to that format. The resulting clip is everything you’d hope for from Vans pro AVE and a whole lot more.
Starting with absolutely classic Dressen hillbomb powerslide footage before jumping on a plane, the video sees Hawaii play host to the FA main man and his crew. Featuring the aforementioned legend that is Santa Cruz pro Eric Dressen along with AVE, the likes of Guy Mariano, John Fitzgerald, Rowan Zorilla, K Terps, Donovan Piscopo and more tear up the legendary parks and spots the Pacific island gem has on offer
