Parallel - Land of the Rose
Hornsea's Paul Regan founded Parallel Skateboards a few years ago and whilst their initial offering was an entertaining introduction to the brand, his company has really found its feet with the release of its new full length 'Land of the Rose.'
Taking heaving inspiration, both visually and spiritually, from mid 00's Blueprint, Regan's version of skateboarding - a quintessentially British celebration - has been intentionally captured in digital form and uploaded to YouTube for us all to enjoy.
Featuring Paul himself, plus the likes of Ben Fox, Josh O'Connor, Jamie Lee and more as they venture to Hull, Wakefield, Barnsley and beyond, 'Land of the Rose' is a hark back to a time before Instagram & TikTok, when British skateboarding was a celebration of the parochial. That alone makes it worth your while but factor in in a Pet Shop Boys audio hammer to sweeten the deal? Well, you know that play button has gotta get pressed!
