Regular readers will know we've shared a Jante clip or two before and will understand why we simply had to include Fritte Soderstrom's latest release in this week's update. Objectively speaking, Fritte's lensmanship is up there with the best in the world right now and as he's filming some of the most exciting skaters in existence his work is a veritable marriage is made in heaven. This really is as close to skate video perfection as you're going to find on a wet Thursday in December!
And though many of you will no doubt care about the difference between TY's steady shots and Bill Strobeck's hyper-zoomed dad cam, it's understood than a majority of skaters couldn't give two hoots how a trick is filmed, as long as we get to see what's going on. It's for these people we're sharing this today, in the hope that a modicum of appreciation for a master of his craft may be reached by the end of this 11 minute video.
Not that this is a lesson of course, so please hear us out! No, this is just so gosh darn exhilarating to watch we figure you can't help but appreciate the skill involved. And, if nothing else, there's some Gustav and obviously you're gonna wanna watch that; it's Gustav!
