Chicago Kluster Bluster
Krooked skateboards, Mark Gonzales' baby and your favourite skateboarder's favourite brand, turns twenty this year. How's about that eh!?!
Coming straight outta DLXSF, Gonz' boys (and girls) hit the road with fellow distro stablemates Grimplestix to take on the granite and 'crete of Chicago and show the windy city how the guys out west do it. Well, that isn't strictly true, given East Coast powerhouse Bobby Worrest is undeniably the jewel in Krooked's crown but the words had a certain rhapsodic flow so we'll leave that first sentence of the paragraph as is.
Clocking in at a suitably brief two minutes and nineteen seconds, Chicago Kluster Bluster concentrates more on the realistic vibe of the city skate sesh than it does the show stopping hammer. Factor these two points together and you know this is the perfect watch as you wait for your mates to show up at the spot - consider the clip this week's hype!
