Supply Chain
Oct 2023 by Route One
Our supply chain is complex, with hundreds of different brands on offer, each with various product lines and styles often sourced from a multitude of different supplier factories. Many of our suppliers are at different stages on their sustainability journeys. To help you make more informed decisions we’ve gathered information on the sustainability of our top brands.

Route One

We've been looking into our Route One supply chain and thinking about more sustainable options for our clothing. This has shone a light on difficulties we could not have predicted and has got us thinking about every step of the production process.
We are asking vital questions about the materials we use, how they are grown, what inks we print with, how our garments are packaged and how far they've had to travel to get to us.

We are working hard to improve the sustainability of our products. We have worked to increase the use of organic cotton and recycled materials and currently 14% of all our Route One collection product lines contain organic or recycled materials, including our 100% GOTs Certified Organic Cotton Tees and Beach Pants, which are packaged in fully biodegradable bags and labelled with FSC Certified card swing tags, as well as Recycled Bags and Beanies.
We’re constantly working to increase the number of sustainable products in our collection and hope one day to use only sustainable materials and processes in the production of our garments and hardware.
