Nike are continuing to work hard to produce more considered products with less harmful impact on the planet. They have worked to reduce 64% of their greenhouse gas emissions in their owned or operated facilities with a current goal of 70% reduction. Nike have also diverted 97% of waste from landfill and hope to get that to 100% in the future.

They have recently launched their ‘Nike Forward’ material which is made from ultra-thin fabric that has a reduced footprint of 75% compared to their traditional knit fleece. This material sits alongside their longstanding Nike Air, Nike Flyknit and Nike Flyleather fabrics which are more sustainable fabric options for shoe manufacturing.
