Style And Substance
Sidewalk magazine’s roving V-neck reporter, Mr Farran Golding, has been writing his own blog for a good while now but this piece, focusing on the evolution of Dylan Reider’s outfit choices has really brought it to the attention of the wider world.
Timing wise it was quite an unfortunate release, given only days earlier ‘The Ride Channel’ published their own thesis on the comings and goings of heir Rieder’s hair (and shoes and jeans and whatever trinkets adorn his body this month) but, and this is not a biased view due to Farran’s UK heritage, we have to say the young lad from West Yorkshire has produced a far superior piece of (if slightly fawning) critique journalism.
Get your chops around the writing and remember that the author is only 19 and hails from an awful little town in the shadows of a slightly bigger awful town – yet has managed to procure himself a job with Europe’s premiere skateboarding publication – a bit of passion and a bit of luck means there is hope for all of us, if only we’re willing to put the effort in.
