SOUTHBANK UPDATE
If you've read our previous posts - Southbank Update, Long Live Southbank, Save Southbank - or receive our weekly R1 SKATE UPDATE emails you'll know that the issues facing the legendary South Bank undercroft are close to our hearts.
The latest supporter, to add their voice to the campaign, is former Culture Secretary and MP for Exeter Ben Bradshaw.
In this video Mr. Bradshaw expresses his view that the skateboarders are as much part of South Bank's cultural heritage as the theatre and concerts.
Decisions will soon be made on the future of London's most legendary skate spot so there's still time for you to express your views and voice your opinion.
You have until July 5th to give Lambeth Council feedback regarding the Southbank Centreâs planning application that could see the Undercroft area replaced with retail units â find out how to get involved at www.longlivesouthbank.com and follow the simple steps to add your support.
