Sidewalk Mag Redux B-Sides
Every time we've featured something exclusive to the Sidewalk Skateboard mag site over the past 18 months or so we've jumped headlong into an explanation of how vital to the scene it was for over twenty years, how sad we were to see it cease print production and how pleased we are that the online version seems to be going from strength to strength.
The reason for this is simple; it's all true! The guys behind the mag kept the torch burning through many dark and wet winters before most of you were even born, let alone able to flip the local Aldi five stair. With this in mind we were thrilled to see the first 'Sidewalk Mag Redux' book, released earlier this year, and the accompanying DVD of raw British skateboarding.
Now, six months later, Ben, Horsely and the rest of the crew have seen fit to bless us with the offcuts/b-sides/'whatever you wanna call it' clip and it has stoked us out just as much as all the preceding media. Featuring the likes of our own Josh Young (congrats on the pro board by the way!), UK stalwart Frank Stephens, a wee bit of Benson and a whole load more, this UK skateboarding presented the way so many of us have grown up with. Click play to see it the way it should be done...
