Rowan Davis: The Route One Interview
What can be said about Girl skateboards that hasn't already been repeated ad infinitum? Formed in 1993 out of a mass exodus from the all-conquering Plan B, Mike Carroll and Rick Howard's constantly evolving superteam has been the last word in style for nearly 30 years. Consistently producing ground breaking content and only sponsoring the very best riders, if somebody is repping Girl boards you know they're the cream of the crop.
So, when their latest sojourn to these shores, the Desesh Mode tour, passed through London last month we relished the chance to sit down with the new breed, picking their brains about this, that, the other and everything in between!
First up to get the famous Route One interview treatment was the youngest fella in the van, Medowie NWS' very own Rowan Davis. Having shocked the world with his insane Nervous Circus footage a couple of years back, then cementing his place on the team with the brilliant lockdown part Civic Central, Rowan chatted about handling covid restrictions in Australia, getting on Nike, partying in Copenhagen and much more besides.
Click that play button now and keep those eyes peeled, we've a lot more from the Girl camp coming your way over the next few weeks!
