Palace: Endless Bummer
Released last week with no hype beforehand, this 17 minute promo from Palace came as the most pleasant yet unexpected surprise.
With plenty of footage from everyone from Lucien to Brady and Blondey McCoy to Shawn Powers, plus cameos from Brophy, Penny and more – this is British skateboarding at its upmost radness. Grimey spots, grimier music, questionable video camera choice – the Palace aesthetic remains intact and offers some truly sublime skateboarding for your eyes to devour.
As expected, everyone’s favourite chap from Blackpool, Mr Danny Brady, closes things up with footage as good as anything from his Blueprint or Lakai releases – you want to get inspired on the spots behind your local supermarket? Just watch Danny as he makes none-spots seem like the best thing ever.
This is where Palace really triumph – take away the sportswear collabs and celebs rocking their tees – their skating is still the best getting produced in this country and we have to admit that we are massive fans of that!
