Oh my Suciu…
As much as time with the family was lovely and the turkey went down a treat, the highlight of Christmas this year had to be the December 25th release of Habitat Skateboard’s ‘Search The Horizon’.
Whilst it wasn’t a 'full length' in the traditional sense of the word, given most of the team didn’t have full sections, it has certainly left a feeling of shock and awe in everyone who has sat down to watch it; from Marius Syvanen’s switch K with the gnarliest switch speed wobbles ever to Brian Delatorre’s opening section none of the video disappoints.
Then comes Mark Suciu. Three songs, absolutely no filler, lines going on six tricks longer than anybody else, wrong way reverts that don’t look possible; this is eight minutes of truly mesmerising skateboarding. If you haven’t seen it yet then prepare to be amazed. If you have, then why not simply enjoy it again?
