Nine Club: Rick McCrank
Oh Chris Roberts and Roger Bagley, with these latest Nine Club episodes you are really spoiling us!
Fresh from last weeks epic chat with Pierre Andre Senizergues life long right hand man Don Brown, comes this belter of an interview with everybody's favourite Canadian and one of the gnarliest skaters of all time, Mr Richard McCrank.
Hailing from Peterborough, Ontario and with one of the most enviable back catalogues of video parts in the game, 40 year old Rick sits down for episode 24 of the series to discuss everything from filming for seminal Birdhouse release 'The End' to getting on Girl and discovering he is actually allergic to detergent (must be quite a pain when it comes to keeping clean!).
We don't know how much longer this current season of interviews is due to last but we're going to keep on lapping them up as there is little else in skateboarding that comes close to these right now. Both irreverent and informative, taking the micky and telling great stories, Chris and Roger form that perfect balance that allows the guests to feel comfortable enough to tell you everything you could ever want to hear about, not constrained by time limits a branded enterprise would demand. Long may they continue; all hail the Nine Club!
