Nine Club 'Marbie'
Pride month may be over but the guys at the Nine Club know diversity and inclusivity in skateboarding is a 365 days a year affair and so we're thrilled to see Instagram sensation Marbie as their latest guest.
Fresh from the 'Roll Their Own' tour with the likes of Nora Vasconcellos, Fabiana Delfino, Breana Geering and Samarria Brevard, Spitfire Wheels and Krux Trucks representative Marbie steps up to the hotseat knowing full well her appearance was always going to be contentious to those certain demographics that seem to be circling skateboarding like culture war vultures of late. Thankfully Marbie more than holds her own and does her best to explain her truth and what it means to her to be a skater in 2022.
Covering everything from growing up in Iowa to going pro for There Skateboards, the interview never strays into patronising and we even get to hear the origin story of the name Marbie! Click play to hear from a true skateboarding original right now!
