Nike SB: Futura Laboratories
In our last round of blog posts, we made note of the fact that prominent brands are going to be very content heavy over the coming weeks and months, as the Paris Olympics approach. At the time we were sharing Nike SB's 'Medal Madness,' a piece on Games hopeful Oskar 'Oski' Rozenberg and his preparation for the 33rd Olympiad.
But brands are clever and whilst they want to make the most of the new audience the summer's showcase will no doubt excite, skateboarding has serious roots and it's us lifers these companies need to keep happy - which is probably why this amazing new clip, chock full of some of the most legendary names on Nike's roster, dropped online this week!
From Guy to Eric, Malto to P-Rod, this is multi-generational old guard, showing that Nike's commitment runs deep. Of course it's also advertising the brand new Futura Laboratories Dunk, but as that's now sold out we'll just concentrate on the skating!
