Nick Jensen: Lakai x Isle Griffin
Having shared one of the standout parts in now legendary 2007 Lakai video ‘Fully Flared’, London skate stalwart Nick Jensen has remained loyal to the company and now sees this rewarded with the release of the Isle Skateboards collaboration ‘Griffin’ model.
To celebrate the shoe’s release Jacob Harris has produced this beautifully shot three minute piece of VX1000 skate cinematography. The nods to upcoming Isle full length ‘Vase’ are numerous but that is only to be expected, given Jacob is at the helm of that too – it certainly does help build hype; if the full video is comparable to this then we’re all in for a massive treat!
Nick has made a career of skating the roughest of spots in such a way that they almost seem perfect and that approach continues throughout this clip; London and LA back streets combined with the wonderful sounds of “The Big O” himself? You simply can’t go wrong!
