Mano A Man 2022: Final!

Jun 2022 by Route One

If Battle at the Berrics is the ultimate in flatground games of skate, it's safe to say Woodward's Mano A Mano contest has staked a strong claim for the title of its transition cousin. Pitting the best ramp riders in the world against each other, this is in essence your bog standard game of skate on a mini ramp but with the levels turned up to eleven!

Save for the one variation that the set alternates between participants each go, nothing really needs explaining here - you know the rules, you know the game. What also doesn't (or certainly shouldn't) need explaining is just how exciting Jake Wooten is to watch. That's certainly no diss to fellow finalist Heimana Reynolds, it's just Jake has been a firm favourite since his truly amazing Santa Cruz part last year so we're super excited to see anything new from him.

Throughout the qualifying rounds he's been by far and away the most exciting skater to watch and so, much like the Jamie Griffin Vs. Lil Dre BATB match, whilst we won't offer any spoilers here we'll implore you to watch this clip - it doesn't matter who wins when the skateboarding is this good!
