Madars Apse: The Route One Interview
Everyone’s favourite Latvian, Element Skateboards’ newest pro Madars Apse, sat down with us recently to discuss a whole host of topics in this exclusive video interview.
Over in the country with DC as part of the European ‘Special Delivery’ tour, Madars spoke freely about hooking up with both DC and Element, skateboarding in Latvia, being sponsored by his local council and the propensity of Latvian men to enjoy a punch up.
As well as being one of the more technically creative skateboarders in the world today, Madars is also quite the scholar; having completed a four year business degree as well as nurturing one of the most exciting careers in modern day skateboarding. That takes some serious effort!
Stay tuned as next week we’ll be uploading our conversation with Madars’ DC team mate, and current Thrasher S.O.T.Y, Mr Wes Kremer.
