King Of Macba
The Catalan tourist vortex rears its head again with 'Macba Life' bringing back their 'King of Macba' competition for 2020. What makes this especially interesting, unlike Battle of The Berrics, is that not only can the contestants set tricks on any obstacle in the vicinity but pretty much every skater in the world has visited the spot at least once so everyone can appreciate just how easy or hard the tricks are!
Back in 2019 everyone's favourite casual sportswear fiend Gustav Tonnesen took the title (he's back for another bite of the cherry you'll be pleased to know) and the line up this time around is every bit as exciting and eclectic as you'd hope.
First up to battle are Gabriel Fortunato and Nassim Lachhab and these two are not messing about! Though the format may be similar in structure to BATB (winner first to get the other to S.K.A.T.E (or M.A.C.B.A), one set to match but two on the last letter) a few subtle differences make it all the more exciting, though we're not sure how we feel about the Monster Ramp - that thing is straight up cheesy!
