John Rattray Rehash
As anyone lucky enough to have been part of the UK skate scene in the 1990's will testify, there are few people to have stepped foot on a skateboard that will ever come close to the radness that is Aberdeen's John Rattray.
The current #NB TM and Zero pro didn't take your average route to skate stardom, initially skating part time around his University course work (attaining a degree in physics) and riding for then UK brand Blueprint. Having taken a trip out to the states in the late 90's and securing himself a 'Rookies' appearance on the illustrious 411VM (Google it - it's what we watched before the internet came out) he caught the eye of a certain Jamie Thomas and the rest, as they say, is history.
Sidewalk Magazine have gloriously seen fit to remix some famous and lesser seen Rattray clips as the third installment of their excellent 'Rehash' series. Click play to educate yourself and witness some grade A skateboard action.
