Jenkem: An Ode to Jamie Thomas
There’s no denying that Jenkem is producing some of the best (and most controversial) content in online skateboard media these days. In fact we’d go so far as to say that it is almost foolish to not be at least following them on Facebook; to miss their content is to simply miss out in general!
Over the past week alone they’ve released a Lucas Puig hip hop playlist, a hilarious Tim O’connor podcast, pointed out the perils of Energy Drink logo clothing and dropped this absolute hammer in our collective laps – the best of Jamie Thomas.
As you probably know, we’re massive fans of ‘The Chief’ here and it’s fair to say that the Zero Boss is almost certainly in any top five list of the greatest skateboarders ever. And although this seven minutes of classic JT footage certainly isn’t everything ever committed to film by the big man it is definitely a fair representation of the impact left by Birmingham, Alabama’s most radical son. This is essential viewing!
