Jason Park Thrasher Section? Really?
Yeah, we were as surprised as you are. On one hand you have Thrasher; all SF, punk rock, hill bomb, gnarly bowl etc. etc. and on the other you have Hawaii’s Jason Park; the quirkiest of tech, often set to the popiest of soundtracks. How did this collab’ even come together!?!
There’s no denying that this section has set tongues wagging and is completely dividing opinion. Some people are loving the unabashed creativity whilst others are lambasting the questionable style on show. It really is one of those polarising parts.
One thing is for certain though; Jason isn’t afraid to mix it up and he is a phenomenal talent. For us the pole jam blunt fakie is a definite highlight and something we’re all determined to have a go at. And after all, if a video is inspiring then it has pretty much done its job, hasn’t it?
