Guerreiro: The Tiago Lemos Story
It’s safe to say Tiago Lemos was the stand out star of Ty Evans' skate cinema opus ‘We Are Blood, released to much acclaim last year. In a video featuring far too many legendary pro’s and insatiable ams to mention, Jaguriuna’s most talented son stood head and shoulders above a cast of greats.
Ty, in association with Mountain Dew’s ‘Green Label Films’, revisits Tiago twelve months later to tell his skate story. Covering everything from his parents initial disdain through to his recent bump up to the pro ranks for Boulevard, everything about Tiago’s story speaks volumes about his positivity and 100% commitment to his art (though we certainly don’t encourage missing out on school to go skating!).
The effort involved to take himself from the a small Brazilian provincial town to the big lights of LA and Pro Skater status really is exceptionally humbling and it’s truly life affirming to see somebody as positive as the young DC Footwear advocate fulfil his dreams. Plus you get to see some proper hammers, which is always a bonus!
