Best of 2015: Sidewalk Goes Digital!
Skateboard media in the UK changed irrevocably in 2015 when Factory media announced the cessation of all print formats and Sidewalk Magazine as we’d known it for nearly 20 years ceased to be.
Having nurtured the British skate scene in a way nobody else ever came close to, the prospect of journeying into the coming years without Sidewalk by our collective side was a scary thought indeed. Thankfully the incredibly hardworking combination of Ben Powell, Andrew Horsely, Ryan Gray and Chris Johnson oversaw the transition into the completely digital online release of the mag and Sidewalk remains as strong and as vibrant as ever.
Released Bi-monthly and with staggered daily drops of content, the guys at Sidewalk appear to have hit upon a winning formula and the first three issues of ‘online only’ have been welcomingly received.
Click the three covers below for access to issues 222,223 and 224 respectively!
