Battle of Normandy: Sour (With Tyler Surrey)
What with all the road trip shenanigans of Thrasher's Vice TV hosted 'King of the Road' it's easy to forget that other skate media outlets have been doing their own comp thing for years and there's a lot more to the genre than butt chugging beers and avoiding physical contact with Andy Roy.
Free Magazine's latest issue chronicles their 'Battle of Normandy' event (featuring Sour, Palace, Element, Magenta and Antiz) and every day this week they're releasing an edit on their website. First up (and the one we've specifically chosen to share with you) is Sweden's very own Sour Skateboards' tellingly entitled webisode 'The Struggle of Normandy.'
Why this one in particular? Well, disregarding timing issues (we write this content at the start of the week) none of the other videos contain our good mate Albert Nyberg and that's reason enough for us! Throw in Josef Scott Jatta, Oscar Candon and Sk8 Mafia's Tyler Surrey and you have great summer time vibes from one of the most exciting teams in skateboarding. There's a lot worse ways we could suggest spending three minutes of your time today!
Check it out here.
