Atlantic Drift Ep.7
Jake Harris is back once again, filming his ever present crew of insanely talented (predominantly) London based rippers as they venture around the globe, skating the lesser seen sides of the world's most famous cities. This time the boys are in Vegas and rather than gambling their life savings they're hitting the oft-forgotten side streets away from the main strip and once again flying the flag for the UK on the international stage, proving we can certainly hold our own when it comes to playing at skateboards.
Isle stalwarts Marnold, Casper and Tom Knox appear as always whilst fresh blood is brought into the fold in the form of Frog Skateboards Jesse Alba, perfectly playing the role of host in the sun scorched thoroughfares and parking lots of Nevada's most famous city.
As you well know, the Atlantic Drift crew bring their own interpretations of how to use a skateboard to the table and whilst they may not match the handrail and gap prowess of their equally famous American counterparts, it's their ability to reimagine spots (all the while beautifully captured by Jake's artful hand), that makes these edits so inspiring and enjoyable. We don't know how many more there are going to be as we're really not sure how long the Thrasher funding will last but whilst it does we'll lap every second of it us as we, much like you we'd wager, are seriously committed fans!
