As Seen On The Daily Street
Check out the post our friends over at The Daily Street did on the new Nike SB Project BA :
The latest addition to the Nike SB line up is an interesting one. Designed for Brian Anderson, the Project BA is a technology focused skateboarding shoe which looks more like what youâd expect from a Nike runner.
Continuing the adoption of the technology in skateboarding, the Project BA features a Lunarlon cushioned midsole for both comfort and protection, also making the shoe very lightweight. It also incorporates a stitchless suede upper with a synthetic overlay covering the back half, and mesh panels on the interior and tongue for breathability. Available in black/dark grey with a contrasting white outsole, the BA is a stark contrast to not only all of the other SB models weâre used to seeing, but most other skate shoes of the moment as a whole.
Iâm very interested to hear how these skate â the fusion of minimal weight and comfort seems like a winning combination. Itâs a move on from the technology present in models like that from Eric Koston, and is likely to be something we see a lot more of in the future. The Nike SB Project BA is available now from SB stockists including Route One.
