An Inside Look At Welcome Skateboards
Jenkem Magazine once again produces the goods when it comes to the written word, this time discussing the rise of the Welcome Brand and how a small little start up became one of the most sought after brands in the industry.
Welcome main man Jason Celaya discusses everything from starting the company with only $2000 dollars to his penchant for the use of Occult imagery. Unfortunately the interview does stray into a couple of banal d*ck jokes at the start but if you circumnavigate the juvenility of that small segment the rest of the piece really does open eyes.
Even the HUF question gets answered so this genuinely is a ‘No Holds Barred’ affair and it really is interesting to hear from someone making his own way in the industry without all the usual nepotism and insider links. Give it a read, it may change your perspective on a few things and you’ll be really glad you did…
