Alexis Ramirez Sk8Mafia Part
The Sk8mafia homies honoured Chula Vista local Alexis Ramirez with a promotion to the pro ranks and, as this insane two song part shows, it couldn't be more deserved!
Continuing the brand's commitment to repping local dudes bring that tech-gnar, 21 year old Alexis holds it down with chopping some seriously big rails as well as specialising in that brand of creative tech that Sk8Mafia legends like Wes Kremer are renowned for. That's hardly surprising though when you consider Alexis has spent over a third of his life flowed by the brand and all of that time under Wes' wing!
What is surprising however is the choice of opening track. Seriously, with those indie riffs of We Were Promised Jetpacks this part could easily be from a decade ago - it's so far removed from the Trap hip hop you're expecting it's almost as shocking as the tricks! It makes a very pleasant change and we're always down for people mixing it up and it's safe to say skateboarding's newest pro is doing exactly that!
