Adidas x The Hundreds x NBA
Coming off the back end of a highly successful football inspired collaboration, Adidas and The Hundreds join forces once again in an official partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) with a new limited edition collection that focuses on two iconic teams from globally renowned cities - Los Angeles and Brooklyn.
The collection features two Adi-Ease ADVs, created with enhanced materials, perforated toe boxes, and tongue/heel loops. Charcoal uppers with purple and yellow confetti gum soles emulate the confetti that rained down on champions the LA Lakers in 1980, whilst the classic black & white of the Brooklyn Nets mimics the team’s logo in a minimalistic yet timeless manner.
Rounding out the limited edition capsule is team inspired apparel, which includes two exclusive Adidas Skateboarding x The Hundreds x NBA team jerseys. Using a unique screen print and embroidered custom logos, the LA Lakers jersey provides a true retro ‘80’s feel through its authentic vintage open mesh construction with the Nets inspired iconography and black-on-black jacquard all over print subtly mirroring the look of wet asphalt.
A Lakers long-sleeve Climalite t-shirt featuring colour blocking and multiple screen printed graphics, alongside a Climalite French terry pullover hood complete this highly anticipated collection.
