Ace Pelka 'To Kingdom Curb'
Who doesn't love a kerb? Whether you're eight years old and rolling off your first one or 45 and smashing your aging carcass into yet another slappy, kerbs are the ultimate in skateboarding ubiquity; they're the glue that binds us all!
But their appeal doesn't stop with basic moves, watch any Daewon part and you'll see the most technical manuals of all time performed above that humble prefab concrete. You'll also see an abundance of increasingly technical slappy skating appearing on instagram but we doubt much of it is up to the level of the wizardry Ace Pelka has committed to film in his brand new part for the Berrics.
In itself, producing the best part of five minutes of footage without ollieing into a single trick may seem no mean feat. However, the boundaries that are broken as this clip progresses suggest Ace has so much creativity up his sleeve he's not constrained by the norms of skateboarding imagination, only the limit of painted kerb configurations in sunny California. This boy good!
