The full grain leather and suede upper is very durable and has a snug, tight fit. The lower profile construction gives excellent deck grip and the reinforced lace racks protect the midfoot and laces. Full leather and suede upper on a vulcanised construction, yeah, in 1989 there wasn't much else around other than a vulcanised sole, so that's what you've got here.
